I used this hair to do small rope twists/senegalese on my very thick 4C hair after years of no braids (only used 4 out of 6 bags for my entire head). It had no odd smell, the ends curled easily, and it felt like an elevated version of typical braiding hair. I've had it in for over a month now, I've washed my hair twice (It drys really fast!), and it still looks great.
I also loved the cute packaging, it made the experience so much more luxurious. I will definitely buy again. I would love if they also had a pre-curled versions (like free-tress).
I absolutely LOVE this product! I bought the hair a few months ago and waited to get my hair braided. I got it done a week ago and I have absolutely no complaints. It's lightweight. I have no itchy scalp. No flaking or irritation. Even the hairstylist said that braiding my hair was a pleasure because tge texture did not irritate her hands. I will be buying more for future hairstyles.

This is the best synthetic hair I’ve used for my braids. I have a very sensitive scalp. I usually break out in red bumps and heavy dandruff when using the braiding hair from the store. I have had no issues using this hair. So happy I gave gyal a try.
Best braiding hair I've ever purchased. I didn't end up losing much hair too separation so you end up wasting less hair doing an install. It does not cause any real itching which has allowed me to keep my braids in much longer because they look less raggedy over time. It's not heavy when wet which makes it easier to wash.. Plan to use this brand exclusively going forward.
So far I like the product had the hair in for just a couple of days and I’m not patting my head down so that’s a good sign.The look of the hair is nice and texture is smooth my fingers can go through it.
My daughter has never been able to keep braids in long bc she would itch terribly even after washing. I was skeptical and worried about the price point. I ordered the special and did our first install. One order comes with 8 packs, and we only needed 1 & 1/2 to do a medium knotless. No itching, no tangling.

Prior to purchasing this braiding hair, my scalp would be on fire with bumps and constant itching. I can honestly give this brand 5 stars! No itching, no bumps, and I didn’t even have to rewash the hair. Everything was great

I used Gyal Braiding Hair on one of my clients with a very sensitive scalp, and she immediately noticed a difference. She told me her scalp didn’t flake or get irritated like it usually does with other braiding hair. That alone stood out to me because she normally struggles after braid installs. Definitely a great experience using this hair.

The braided loved the hair, tge fact it's pre-washed in ACV is a plus bc my I had to actually take out my daughter's freshly braided hair after a day due to her scalp being severely irritated and slightly burned from obviously a "bad" batch of hair. This never happened before and we went to same braided, she used same products she'd been using the numerous times she was braided. The 8 packs of hair was a great price, they looked small but surprisingly were thick bundles, I'll always order Gyal from now on!

I was pleased with the texture, color and cost of the bundles that I purchased for my daughter to braid my hair. My daughter also noticed a difference in the texture (softness) of the Gyal bundles versus the bundles she buys from the beauty supply store. She was also pleased with the fact that she experienced way less tangling during the braiding process. Also, the hair did NOT itch my scalp and I experienced very little itching when the hair touched my neck. Overall, I would recommend this product. Hands down.
